This Fancy Trombone Antique Watch Chain features classic elongated trombone links connected by sections of open curb links at an epic 22.5” length. It’s a unique watch chain with an understated feel, finished in that classic 9K yellow gold colouring—yellow with ever-so-slightly warm undertones. A very cool chain if you’re looking for a fancy watch chain at a longer, incredibly wearable length! It can also be styled as a lariat, as the dog clasp can hook onto the open curb links.

There are eight trombone links, each approximately 25mm long, alternating with nine sections of open curb links, typically measuring approximately 34mm long. One curb section is longer than the others at approximately 65mm, adding to the individual character of the chain.
Style & Wear: This is an old antique piece with plenty of character, and any original hallmarks or maker’s marks appear to have worn away over time and are no longer legible. The chain has been XRF tested twice and confirmed as solid 9K gold. It mostly lays flat when worn, although some of the open curb links have a slight twist, as shown in the final photo. Dog clasps are functional components and repairs or replacements are not uncommon on antique watch chains. This one is currently in working condition.
